A number of years ago the government had Training and Enterprise Councils (TEC), Business Links and other iterations of agencies to help businesses be creative, entrepreneurial, increase the use of technology, improve profitability, leading to increased employment. Today this is achieved through the GrowthAccelerator programme which is available to any business with less than £40million turnover, and less than 250 staff. Originally this programme was due to stop in March 2015 but has been so successful that the Government has extended it. Could this be the kick-start help you might find useful?
AND... there is a brilliant offer for prospective clients who are heading for high growth and:
• Have a turnover between £250,000 and £2 million
• Primarily want Leadership & Management training, already have an identified L&M requirement
• Are prepared to accept the coaching if randomly selected (see next blog).
• They will need to pay £700 VAT if they are chosen.
• The person who provides the training cannot also be their coach (see next blog).
• Know their numbers and are prepared to complete the Application Form (or talk it over with a Growth Manager) and be part of a research study – which could offer some great PR.
