Remuneration Strategies for Partners

Stepping in for Charlie Keeling (HR Director at FFW) as the keynote presenter at the recent Remuneration Strategies for Partners, (Ark, 6th April) was a challenge for Patricia. They discussed the key issues facing the legal profession and found themselves very much in agreement – making the task infinitely easier. Feedback from her keynote included:

• Very informative and thought provoking. Delivered in an entertaining and engaging style.
• Great content and very well presented.
• Really excellent presentation. A lot of food for thought! (Philip Rodney, Chairman, Burness LLP).

This is a topic about which Patricia passionately believes the profession has to get to grips with, along with strategic career planning. Others at the conference said there were some lively debates with other presentations and panellists. Leah Darbyshire, Head of Connect Strategy, Ark Group wrote to Patricia: "I thought it was an excellent presentation. I will certainly keep you in mind for any forthcoming law firm strategy events for Managing Partners and leaders."

As she catches-up with more and more Managing Partners (MP) so our thinking is consolidating on Portfolio Career for Partners.
